Trivia
Mid 1980s - starting with outfit 1274, newly designed boxes were in use, of same size but with a top flap showing Fleur logo and a cute snapshot of Fleur. Apparently these were used for only a very short time, most likely in 1985, because only six known outfits were packaged this way. The back of the box showed promo photos for these six outfits. | |

We begin with an overview of MIB (mint in box) outfits. There was quite a bit of variation in Fleur's outfit packaging over the years, and this could serve as a rough guide to dating those outfits. |

| 1970s - the earliest outfits from 1978 or 1979 were packed in boxes as shown above: these are larger than the boxes used later, with a distinctive promo photo of a Fleur wearing the featured outfit in the top left corner. This type of packaging was probably only used a few times, because the fifth outfit ever made, number 1205, was packaged in the new smaller box - see next picture. |

Early 1980s - these boxes were commonly used throughout the early 80s, and the last known outfit in this box was number 1273, estimated to be sold in 1984 or 1985. These boxes are smaller and more sturdy. Most importantly, on the back they show other outfits available at the same time, always in sets of six. Some of these boxes show promo photos of furniture, in addition to photos of outfits. |
Late 1980s - some of Fleur's last outfits were packaged in simple blister packs. These included outfits 1288 and Designer series. It was not possible to de-box these outfits without damaging the box. Similar packaging was used for the Mix'N'Match range. |

Fleur had three different mix-and-match sets, each in a different package. The earliest set is shown in the middle, using the original design in dark green. The other two ranges were sold from 1986 onwards in new light green boxes. |
