Fleur fashion Range 1 Casuals back of NRFB box six outfits 1988 Otto Simon

Range 1 Casuals is a six-outfit collection sharing one catalogue number 385 - 1200. It was probably sold in 1987 or 1988, so it's one of the last Fleur fashion collections. The back of each box shows promo photos for all six outfits. The photos are beautiful and show each doll top-to-toe, including shoes.

The name Range 1 is interesting - maybe Otto Simon intended to have Range 2 and more?

Big thanks to Angela at vintage_fleur_doll for sharing her supermodel Fleurs in Casuals outfits :)

The first Fleur Casuals fashion is a three-piece set of top, jacket and shorts, in a fresh blue-green-yellow colour palette. The jacket is navy blue with light green trim around collar and cuffs, and one red button in front. The sleeveless top is striped in blue, yellow and green, with green shorts to match.

Red, white and blue is the colour theme of this Casuals outfit. Fleur wears a simple denim miniskirt paired with a red-and-white short-sleeve shirt, plus a nice oversize red shirt on top. This outfit is very 'casual 80s' - neon was for parties, and outfits like these were for everyday wear.

Shoes: plain white high heels (pumps)

1200 C

This fun Fleur Casuals outfit is bright and colourful - perfect for spring or summer. It's a simple, sleeveless yellow top, worn with an oversize orange shirt. On the bottom - very groovy pants with a red-yellow-green-blue horizontal stripe pattern. There is a blue necklace in the box, but in the promo photo it is white.

Accessories: blue or white necklace

1200 D

Of all the Fleur Casuals outfits, this one is the easiest to find today - maybe it was the most popular one? It's a very cute short=sleeve pink shirt with a white lace border around the neckline, paired with a white-pink-purple striped knee-length skirt. The pink necklace is a nice accessory, but Fleur is not wearing it in the promo photo.

Accessories: silver bag, pink necklace

Shoes: plain white high heels (pumps)

Shiny nylon? Yes, this Fleur Casuals outfit was once the height of fashion for sporty 80s ladies. Dark blue vest and shorts combined with a red turtleneck sweater is a classic 80s look in style and colour combination.

The bottom of this Fleur Casuals outfit would make a nice pyjama - it's a loose pair of cuffed pants in a white-blue-red plaid pattern. Add a bright pink turtleneck sweater - in classic 80s style with a dark blue knitted neck and hem - plus a bag, and Fleur is ready for some light shopping.
