In the year 1980, Fleur got a second bedroom with more furniture.. All pieces in the promo photo - the four-poster bed, wardrobe, clothes rack and vanity table - were sold separately. This set was not made exclusively for Fleur. If you have it in different colours (like pink and blue), it belongs to other fashion dolls. See 'clones' section at the bottom of this page.

2314 Bed

This Fleur four-poster bed is one of the larger items in her furniture collection - the box measures 35.5 x 21.5 x 32.2 cm. Obviously, it's because the bed is sold fully assembled, ready to unpack and play. It's quite strong in construction, so it's no surprise you can still find this bed today in good condition. The bed is made of two main parts - cream-coloured base with headboard and footboard, and top frame - joined together by four green posts. The curtains are permanently glued to the top frame, and at the bottom of each post they are held by four white plastic rings. Included with the bed: a yellow sponge mattress with cover (the cover is very generously sized and wrapped well around the whole mattress), a top sheet (as a duvet), and a bolster pillow (long, thin and round) with rolled up yellow sponge inside. All fabrics have the same pattern - tiny leaves and berries on a cream background. Unfortunately, the fabric print quality is very poor - when it comes into contact with water (even without any detergent), the colours run and stain. I recommend you do not wash this fabric unless it's absolutely necessary.

2315 Wardrobe

The Fleur wardrobe is a solid, well-made piece of furniture, complete with shelves, two drawers (white or green), and three hangers (white or green). There are dozens of variations of the door cover. As long as the wardrobe is white, it is a genuine Fleur item.

I absolutely adore the promo photo of the wardrobe stuffed with a selection of Fleur clothes, shoes and accessories. The black ankle boots are a mystery (as far as I know, Fleur never had shoes like this).

2316 Dressing Table + Stool

The Fleur dressing table and stool is one of her most recognisable items. Do note below the reversed chair colours - green seat and white legs vs white seat and green legs. In the box, the vase (which I have also seen in red) is glued to the table, and the drawer is held in place by a strip of sticky tape (so yes, some peeling and cleaning is required when you take it out of the box to play).

2363 Clothes Rack

The Fleur clothes rack is slim and kind of old-timey in design (it would look great made of wood, don't you think?). Unfortunately, it is not quite the right scale for Fleur - you can see an example of this in the photo of outfit 1274. This is because it was not designed exclusively for Fleur, but was also used by other toy companies.

Are these bedrooms cloned?

This bedroom was one of the most cloned Fleur sets of all time - and it's not quite clear which toy company was the first to use these furniture designs. So far, I have identified Tina Toy, Misty and Petra, but many other colours and designs of this set can be found online - like the mystery pink-black-polka-dot set below. The original Fleur set is always white.
