Fleur Pretty Baby

New Look Outfits

Around 1987 or 1988, Otto Simon debuted a new Pretty Baby outfit collection. It had a very different look than the original Pretty Baby from 1986 - new babies, new box designs, new logo. Six cute new baby outfits (all shown below) were designed and sold with sweet accessories like ducks, rattles, combs and balls. These Pretty Baby outfits have no catalogue numbers or names.

The photo above is on the back of each outfit box, promoting the collection in four languages - Dutch, French, English and German. The description says there are individual boy and girl dolls, and a twin pack. Photos of these items are coming soon. Three of the babies in the promo photo are wearing the fashions on this page.

The photo below is from an unknown 1988 catalogue, showing a promotion of the New Look Pretty Baby items, and it's nice to see the prices too - the outfits cost 7.95 guilder, and the gift set with baby and blue bathtub 8.95. That is just around 4 euro today, according to an online calculator.

And here are the six outfits - the complete collection - in no specific order, as they have no catalogue numbers or names.
